**MAY 17th UPDATE**-THE LAST OF THE BIG RUNS

Hello everyone,

I will keep this short and tell you all that I am now ready (or as close to being ready as I am going to be).

All the runs this week were amazing, strong and pain-free. Today's 9.5 miler was done out by the beach and I specifically ran about 4 miles of the actual race day course to familiarize myself with it. All went well.

My knees were 100% pain free, my glutes and hips were strong, I was perfectly hydrated...and my lungs felt great. My foot was a bit tender, but nothing that was not manageable. For the most part, I am feeling that marathon day is really going to boil down to me running the first 5 miles very slowly and methodically....if I can do that, I will run a strong race.

This week is the taper week #2 (Mon-3 mi, Wed-5mi & Thu-3mi...with a nice and easy 6 miler next Saturday at the beach again).

Mileage Dedications for this week = Jessica(22) & Dana,Selena & Indy (23)

Bill
